Mystical Unicorn Elixirs for Transcendent Health

Unicorns are quite trendy in the wellness scene lately. And who is surprised? Unicorns represent transformation and make us believe that anything is possible. They open us up to infinite possibilities, and also symbolize success. So when a trendy elixir shop in Brooklyn, NY started making Unicorn lattes, I knew I had to recreate this enchantment at home. It’s the perfect dose of magic to start or end your day with. It’s fairly simple to make and is packed with nutrients for transcendent health.

     

First, make your unicorn milk:

2 cups cashews, soaked for 6-7 hours
4-5 cups filtered water
1 tsp. vanilla
2-3 dates, pitted
¼ cup organic blueberries
1-2 tsp. acai powder

Add ingredients to a high speed blender and blend on low to form a purple-blue color (add more water, if necessary). You may want to start with half the recommended amounts of blueberries and acai powder and add to it until you obtain your desired mystical color (a lavender or blueish purple)

Now, for the Unicorn Latte, or Elixir:

Once your milk is made, warm it on the stove on low heat, stirring occasionally
With an electric frother, froth some of the unicorn milk
Pour it in your favorite tea cup, leaving about 1 inch of room for the froth
Then add your magical superfoods: 1 tsp. reishi + 1 tsp. ashwagandha (or superfoods of choice), mixing well
Next, add a scoop of froth to top it off
Sprinkle with turmeric and natural organic sprinkles (optional, but recommended)
Voila!

This unicorn potion is protecting you against free radicals, great for your brain, helps support your body in times of stress, and nourishing to your immune system. If that isn’t magical, I don’t know what is.
